HI I am new to Javaranch. As a matter of fact I had been accessing JavaRanch since last 3 years but have become its member recently.
I have come across few terms namely
trailboss/greenhorn/Gold Digger/Sheriff /ranch hand
trailboss/greenhorn/Gold Digger/Sheriff /ranch hand

what are they and what does they signify.....
Also there is some point awarding system.
Where can i find the information.

Check this post for a description of how the member status is affected.
I don't know what "point awarding" system you're talking about, though?

Also, the not-so-common titles such as "Gold Digger" are something you can only earn by making a big enough donation to help JavaRanch cover some of the operational costs.

Everybody starts off as a greenhorn.
After 30 posts, the forum software automatically upgrades you to ranch hand.
Bartenders are people that have been recognized as generous, decent, helpful people and given the keys to a forum to do moderating as they see fit.
Sheriffs are Bartenders that have been recognized as being so generous, decent and helpful, that they have been given the keys to all of the forums and most of the rest of JavaRanch.
Authors are folks that have written a book.
I am the trailboss. I own this site.
Some people have donated a big heap to JavaRanch and we let them pick their own custom title.
There are some folks that are combinations of stuff and we let them choose how to show their combinations.
And since Sheriffs have the keys to the title stuff, they can change their own titles if they like. But it seems it's far more fun for one sheriff to change another sheriff's title.
