hai,

i am using hibernate 3.1 version and jdk1.5.
when i run my test application it is giving the error.

You are compiling your classes for jdk 1.5, but when you execute the program it's running on an earlier jdk version.

Run:

java -version

to find out what jvm version you are using.

If jdk 1.5 is already on the machine, you may just need to fix your path.
