Hi All,

I am supposed to create the Mapping Hbm file dynamically at run time. I learnt that this can be acheived from a Java class file using Xdoclets. But in my case i have to do it from a Xml File. Can this done by xdoclets or anything else?

Parsing the xml file and creating the Mapping file would be a good Idea. Is there is any way?

Thanks
Ashok

Is your data model dynamic? I mean do you form create scripts and execute them from java code.

or you just want your tables to take dynamic data types for columns.
Can you elaborate your question and give me the exact business/use case you are working with?

Hi Arun,

Thanks For your Reply

As you asked, the data model will be a dynamic one. That is according to the Datas given in the Xml, the Database will be created. And I also aware that from the Mapping Hbm file we can create the Tables at Runtime.

My Question is now i want to create that Mapping file from a Xml File at Run Time. Which would be the best way to do it.
