Can any one provide some information about Hibernate. It would be very thankful if you can provide any links.

Hi Mahendran,

Hibernate is a ORM Tool. That is Object Relational Mapping Tool. Which is used to make data persistence. Using this you can directly Map the Data model to Java Objects. Any changes to the Java Objects in the Application will reflect the Data base.

Easy interaction with the database, no need to write Data persistence with Jdbc. Hibernate inturn uses Jdbc API. There are lot more to say. Check manning Hibernate in action.
