it seems following link is not working

That url isn't supposed to work. It's just an identifier. The DTD is in the hibernate3.jar.

Is your program trying to connect to that URL at runtime? If so, read this FAQ.

Interesting... It didn't work yesterday. I can confirm that. I tried it.

Anyway, your code shouldn't need to connect to the server to get the DTD because it's in the jar.
