Need a recommended solution for going back-n-forth between XML data source, Java Beans and SQL storage. My brief investigation has show that there exist numerous solutions, all of which I only know curorary at this point:

XmlBeans or JAXB for the O-X mapping.
iBatis, Castor or Hibernate for the O-R mapping.

Some concerns and non-concerns:
- I need something fairly quick. Don't have time to read a 500 page manual.
- Need to fit to existing Java Bean classes, as opposed to accepting schema compiled classes.

I was impressed with the simplicity of iBatis, but it seems to be missing the O-X part, right.

any advice is welcome,
Sapa

So is Sapa your first name, or is it Sa?

Actually, but still in its infancy, you can map you Hibernate object to a database and also to xml. But it is experimental at this point.
