Kind of an unanswerable question because it is not specific. It is like how do I build a building. There can be so many answers to that. You just include the jar files in the classpath of your project in the IDE, just like any other project would need.

You can also look into JBoss Seam, which ties JSF and JPA implementations, like Hibernate is.

You can write a facade class where you write business logic and call related hibernate classes.

and then from your managed bean action methods call the related facade methods.
