Is there any way through which i can find out the possible objects from ralational database schema. For example,Say Employee schema has three tables Employee,Departments,Emp_Departments(a mapping table). In this case,i have two possible business objects namely Employee,Departments.

Is it same as reverse engineering of object relational mapping?

Well it is kind of a process you have to go through. you have to figure out what you want as your Object model that is as OO as possible, and then map you classes to the data model.

You can also use reverse engineering to have say Hibernate automatically create your mapping files, and from there create your Java objects.
