Hello,

This is my first day to step in the Hibernate technology world.I wanted to understand the need for using Hibernate and with some comprehensive examples.

Please help me with the same.

Have you had a look at the Hibernate documentation? It is quite extensive, with many examples.

You might try Beginning Hibernate : From Novice to Professional. It's damn good!
