Having trouble with Date Format in HSQLDB.

Hi guys,

I am trying to use HSQLDB for my application.
I have some existing data for which the date format is as below:

1/18/2007 10:45:24 AM

When I use the timestamp data type, its format is:

yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss 

So, I have a problem inserting the existing(MM/DD/YYYY) format into the database.
How do I deal with this problem of having incompatible date formats?

Please help.

Did you try date formatter?
