Hi,

I am using DB2 v8 which has a columntype as XML. DDL looks like this:
CREATE TABLE "BLUEISV "."BLIND" (
"LISTING_ID" INTEGER NOT NULL ,
"BLINDTYPE" SMALLINT NOT NULL ,
"XML" XML , ......

In the mapping hbm.xml file I map it like this:
<key-property name="xml" type="java.lang.String" >
<column name="XML" />
</key-property>

and I guess this is the reason of error :
No Dialect mapping for JDBC type: 1111
when I run a select query using :
Session session = new BaseDAO().getSession();
Query query = session.createSQLQuery("select * from blueisv.Blind where listing_id=" + val.getListingId() + " and blindtype=1");

query.list();
but what is the other way I can map "XML" type to a java datatype ?
please help
thanks,
