Hi,

I have a case in which i want to persist my objects using Hibernate in a place other than a database, a file as an example.

Is there an API that provides that ?

Thanks ...

Like in xml? Hibernate does has the ability to write the data to an xml file.

http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/v3/reference/en/html/xml.html

But of course, notice the notice at the top of that page.

Also lookup JAXB, another different api that can save objects to XML.
