I keep show sql as true for debugging purposes.

I am using Hibernate 3.0 and JDK 1.4.2 to connection to DB2 version 8.x and use RAD 6 as IDE.

Is there a way to see the values being passed to sql that gets generated?

Show sql displays the sql in console with ?

Is there any way to see the real data being passed in place of ?

Either in debugger of RAD, or by doing some kind of setting.

I was thrilled that I could actually start helping out instead of just asking questions. As a Hibernate beginner I had just set up such logging that morning!

Very cool. You know I wish I could just fly out to you and give you the two Hibernate classes that I used to teach.
