Is the revenue that JavaRanch gets from google ads much ? No need to reveal the actual amount unless it's a pittance.
And does JR keep track of the clicks? When the next big Ad Agent comes how does JR keep track of it's virtual money-cow and the old trigger happy customers?

It was more, now it has dwindled to much, much less.

And does JR keep track of the clicks?

No.

When the next big Ad Agent comes how does JR keep track of it's virtual money-cow and the old trigger happy customers?

It doesn't.

I guess Google keeps track of these customers though they'd be people interested in Java, however a passing interest.Note sites like Amazon don't use them. (Would be too confusing for the customers.)But the Ads here look pertinent to the page being perused.
