Hi Roland, I have seen some discussion around Java and POJO's, but I find that most of the time they cover starting a new project and creating a new database structure (model driven), but I do not see alot of documents dealing with existing well established databases.

Also do you cover JDO with particular emphasis on JPOX as JPA, which is now part of the DataNuclues project?

Regards,
Francois

Our book makes the opposite assumption in most cases. We often find that the Data Model is well defined and that applications need to map to it. Our example uses Meet-In-The-Middle approach which is what we find most Enterprise Customers doing.

We do not cover JDO or JPOX in the eval. We mention JDO in the history section.
