How do read a kevalue- the ten digit number (not the hexadecimal string)

I figured this one out:
CategoryBag catBag = businessEntity.getCategoryBag();
Vector keys = catBag.getKeyedReferenceVector();
for( int j = 0; j < keys.size(); j++ ) {
KeyedReference key = (KeyedReference)keys.elementAt(j );
String keyval = key.getKeyValue();
}
