Hello All,
Does anyone have successfully run the simplistic Apache soap Axis sample with BEA WL 6.1 ?
I trying to run the Calculator sample.
http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/~checkout~/xml-axis/java/docs/user-guide.html#PublishingServices
The sample seems straightforward : Write a java file, rename to .jws and drop to the webapp directory.
I added to the %WL_HOME%/config\mydomain\applications/webapp/WEB-INF/lib directory the Apache axis soap jar files : axis.jar, clutil.jar, log4j-core.jar, wsdl4j.jar and tools.jar !!

I also updated web.xml to add the axis servlet mapping .
This sample works fine with Tomcat4.0 but with BEA it sounds that it refuses to automatically translate the .jws file to .class ?!
Maybe you have faced with the same issue ?!
java samples.userguide.example2.CalcClient add 2 5
Exception in thread "main" java.io.FileNotFoundException: E:\j2eeplatform\bea61\
wlserver6.1\config\attiadomain\applications\DefaultWebApp\axis\Calculator.class
