Sure, I know this is a Java board, but I have a real need for a way to wrap up a legacy C++/PLSQL application as a set of web services. At the moment I use a horrible lash-up of CGIs returning tab-separated data to get information out of the system, but it's neither scalable or robust enough for the next stage of development.
So, does anyone know of a way of publishing C++ code as web services on an old DEC Unix (OSF1) system, without modern niceties such as GNU C++, but only an old-ish proprietary C++ compiler.
All sensible suggestions welcome !

Well, there's gSOAP or if you prefer a commercial product you could try Roguewave's. Not sure on the compiler portability of either of those, but my guess is that gSOAP could work...

Thanks for the quick response. I've now downloaded a copy and the docs, so I'll give it a go!
