I am trying to create my own custom faultListener class but I cannot get SOAP to access it. I added the appropriate info to my soap deployment descriptor to use my faultListener class. I added my faultListener class to my ear file. However, when I throw an exception I get the following SOAP exception:
[ERROR,Default] Exception Caught upon method invocation attempt: null
[ERROR,Default] java.lang.NullPointerException
[ERROR,Default] at org.apache.soap.server.SOAPFaultRouter.notifyListeners(SOAPFaultRouter.java:101)

BTW: I am using JBoss 2.4.4 and Tomcat 3.2.3
Thanks

Forgot my question.
My question is, where should I place my faultListener class? Also, currently the faultlistener does nothing. It's just a shell.

OK, After doing some hacking I answered my own question.
We use two jar files: foo.ear which lives in jboss/deploy and fooAPI.jar which lives in tomcat/lib.
I found that everything works when I place our custom fault listener in the fooAPI.jar file.
