hi,
i'm a newbie on webservice and i have several questions. please help.
1.
i want to develop a webservice, that have one or more employees of our organisations. i think i should do it with an array of "employee-classes".
is it right ?
2.
i have tried to return this array and it works fine. (i think so) but if i want to wrote the client, i don't know, how i do this. i can ask the webservice and i get an "array of employee-classes", but now ? how can i get the data in this different classes ? the explanation on the classes (like "employee.getPhone") are not available ?!
3.
i use apache axis and i get following error on the starting webservice. i think it is the apache-axis-client, because i tried it in delphi it works fine. has anyone an idea ? (also in delphi i can't get the data - see 2.)
"org.xml.sax.SAXException: Invalid element in com.dachser.architektur.orgavz_generated.Employee - fax"

tanks for helping !
heiner

Hi,
In apache Axis there is a tool called WSDL2Java converter, which will help you create client code for a given WSDL. please check the documentation guide for more info on how to do this.

Hi Kyle,
Is this a good way to solve a problem, or its making people to become lazy by just using WSDL2Java.

Java2WSDL and WSDL2Java are perfectly fine tools. They're generally the right approach for solving problems like this.
