Hi all,
Would anybody have any tips on starting out with the Java Web Services Development Package. I've read a few reviews on the tutorial none of these were positive. If anybody would know of any books for beginners, or any feed back how you started out it would be greatly appreciated.

So don't use the JWSD. Use something else like Apache Axis (xml.apache.org) which has multiple books written on it, has a great tutorial, and is fully compliant with the Sun JAX-RPC spec.

Excuse me for my ignorance, but what is Apache Axis for a layman? A different version of SOAP?
