Any opinions on the best way to update XML files with Java? I have used the early access version of JAXB before with great success. The beta version is out now but I've been unable to get it to work. The only information I seem to be able to find is on creating XML files, reading XML files, or transforming XML files. I want to update data in the XML files.
Why is it so difficult to find information on doing this?

Thanks. It looks like I need to get more familiar with DOM. The SAX tutorial says, 'On the other hand, because the application is not storing the data in any way, it is impossible to make changes to it using SAX, or to move "backward" in the data stream' , so this won't provide what I need.
