Hi ranchers,
I need to describe the following type of operation in WSDL:
// import org.w3c.dom.Element;
Element doSomething(String s, Element e);
Is this possible? Can I generate a WSDL from that kind of code? I wouldn't want it to map to <xsd:anyType> because the parameter(s) should be a single XML element, not mixed content.

Just a thought
If you are going to return a single XML element, why don't you send it as a String
return "<foo>text</foo>"; instead of org.w3c.dom.Element

That was my idea as well, but it's somewhat ugly -- we're sending XML within XML, so why couldn't the inner XML be XML?
If I don't get the Element to work, I'll have to send the XML as an encoded string.
