Hi all,

I'm trying to write a method , with a StrinBuffer return type , and i want to invoke it via Apache SOAP 2.2 RPC , the problem is whenever i do this i have a fault which is the StringBufer cannot be serialized, i know i could convert the StringBuffer to a string and everything then will be ok , but i just wanna know how to serilaize a StringBuffer via ApacheSoap
Best regards.

Hi Mahas -- please don't make duplicate posts -- I deleted the other topic where you posted the exact same question.

There is no Serializer for the StringBuffer class -- you can't send it -- but why would you want to? Would that even make sense? A StringBuffer is a local wrapper for a String -- how could that be sent in XML?
Just send the String instead.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
