Hi Kyle, and others.
I need a book about webservices. I saw your review in the bunkhouse, but the book was published in 2001.
Right now, according to you, which book about webservices is a "must-have"

<of course this is addressed to Kyle because he is the one who reviewed the bok, but any point of view from Ranchers is appreciated>

There is a fantastic book out with lots of examples (although it is a bit Sun-centric). You can see my review of that book here:

By the way, the authors will be here for a book promotion the week of May 6th.

Yes Thomas, I saw your review and the book you refered to was publish in 2003, isn't it.
That's why I hesitate. I could be more judicious to invest in this book rather than in the one reviewed by Kyle.

Hi,
On the Java side, Beginning Java Web Services, Wrox publishers. The book is good with examples and also helps in setting the software and resources.
Thanks,
Ananth Ram

I own the Developing Java Web Services from Wiley. It helped me to rapidly get a handle on the topic and there's a lot more material I'm sure I'll reference in the future.
I haven't purchased any other books, so I can't compare it, but I did spend about 1 1/2 hours browsing through similar books before I selected to purchase this one.

Won't it be a bit difficult to get this book considering the state of Wrox right now?
