Hi,
Is Web Service going to re-revolutionise the Desktop ? To support flexible workers in a fluid workscape , for example.
There's so much web literature to support this view ( and some disguised as Web Services) but some help getting to the core info would be useful.
regards

In case this description threw anyone, I meant a remote tele-workforce , not an underwater yoga-Pilates class. Well , you may have to include the latter. It's a lifestyle choice- choose the lifestyle and find the technology. Can't see many bosses agreeing with that unless it's cost -effective.

Since this is a rapidly evolving field, what you describe is a vision, not a universal reality. It may be happening right now in some businesses and will never happen in others.

Thanks William.

It wouldn't surprise me if technology leads first, people adopt the technology and businesses run to catch up. I can't think of examples where it has happened before, but I'm sure there are many.
