Hello all,
I've been given a task to write a web service client in Java to talk to a Web Service server created in .NET. I've used the Websphere Studio to generate the proxy from .wsdl. All is fine. However, when I ran it, there was no result returned, I am wondering how I can find out exactly what is sent and what's returned in XML for debugging/logging purposes.
I'd like to parse the returned XML manually if I can to speed up the process, it's very real-time (less than 8 seconds for the whole transaction - request/response).
I can't use TcpMonitor tool because I am telneting into their firewall to do testing after all securID etc.., so that tool won't work.
Anyone pls shows me how to achieve this?
Thanks & regards,
Tim

Did you tried TCPTrace or proxyTrace tools from http://www.pocketsoap.com/tcptrace/
or the webservice tools like http://www.gotdotnet.com/team/tools/web_svc/default.aspx

Hello there..
Thanks for those links, I haven't tried it out yet.. but if we have to use a different tool to monitor, then we can't simply log or parse the raw XML document within our application. Is this a correct statement?
Thanks & regards,
Tim
