I've been trying for days to get this to work, but can't find any useful information.
Basically, my service needs to receive an object, and return an object. That's it! But amazingly, I can't find anything on how to actually create the necessary wsdd. So suppose for example that my Java class consists of

What would the corresponding wsdd file be? I know nothing new needs to be added for the testConnection method, but how do I define the return type of Box? (Suppose Box is in the same package as shape)
Then, in the client, how do I establish that a Box needs to be sent and received?
Thanks a lot.

Hello Bryan,
It will be helpful to learn to use utilities like
"java2wsdl" --> to create a wsdl file from your java class.
and "wsdl2java" --> to create all the client stubs and deployment descriptors.

here's a sample deployment descriptor for you..
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Pavan

OR
better yet,
pick up a deploy.wsdd from axis/samples and edit it to suit your requirements.

pavan
