Hi Ilja,
I'm curious to know if javaranch provides a "view" wherein i can check all my postings (threads started by me) across all forums at a single place. That way, i can avoid "hopping" around the forums. Please let me know,
Thanks.

I don't know about threads "started by you", but you can see the latest list of messages you've posted

Thanks Billy. That'll do for me. BTW, how did you get to the link? (what path, like javaranch.com->myprofile->etc. etc.) I can copy paste the stuff to get there, http://www.coderanch.com/forums/posts/listByUser/00028072, but just curious?

Just click on the "Profile for Jayadev..." button which is on your post above. On the subsequent page, there's a "Show recent posts" link (or whatever it's labelled).

If I view my recent post, I can see one post (Title: "Top 10" Date: 01-12-2004 ) among them but If i click on that particular post,I do not see any message posted by me? Why is it so?
See this link,

I have experienced the same thing before. Looks like, it happens if you delete one of your threads. It is trying to show you that thread, but since that thread is deleted, it is showing some other thread. It is my guess.

Also, if you wish to keep track of the threads that you start, you can mark the "notify me by email" when you post your first post in that thread. However, this only works if you are the first poster in the thread.

I think the notification service should be available to all users, so that anyone can mark the threads he/she is interesting in...
Just a suggestion...
