I've got a programm running in AXIS with a following .wsdd file:
<deployment xmlns="http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsdd/"
xmlns:java="http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsdd/providers/java">

<service name="Mittelschicht_Service" provider="java:RPC">
<parameter name="className" value="Mittelschicht"/>
<parameter name="allowedMethods" value="*"/>
<parameter name="scope" value="Application"/>
</service>
</deployment>

that means Mittelschicht class runs as long as AXIS is running, so how can I make it stop running?(it goes with "kill"-command also, but I want it to be more elegant )

Thanks & regards
Katja

if u use correct web service grammer then you can undeploy a web service in axis by simply uncommenting the lines that start with <service ...> in your axis web apps WEB-INF/server-config.wsdd file. Alternatively you can also undeploy by writing a undeploy.wsdd file and running AXIS's AdminClient program on it.

is that enough,when I just write

<undeployment xmlns="http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsdd/"
xmlns:java="http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsdd/providers/java">
<service name="Mittelschicht_Service"/>
</undeployment>

in the undeploy.wsdd , or must there be something else?

Thanks & regards
Katja
