hello sandiri
Welcome to Javaranch,
We have one little and simple policy here...that is "the display name", could you please change your display name according to this name policy.
Thanks.

An event model simply means that rather than having a strict, prescribed flow of control within your program, objects that are interesting in reacting to things that happen, subscribe to events within the program. When such events occur, the object that generates the event and knows the list of subscribers that are listening for these events, then notifies these listeners. The listeners then have the ability to process these events, and potentially generate other events.

A rich client GUI is a typical event-based program - the events are mouse clicks, user typing text etc.

For web services, an emerging model is the event-oriented Service Oriented Architecture - different subsystems within an enterprise architecture generate and consume events, and notifications flow along an Enterprise Service Bus.

cheers,

Dave
