Please note that I am using WSAD 5.1.2 for developing Web services. I developed a web service and the test client and deployed the code in WebSphere 5.1 app server. In WSAD, web service as well as Test client were working fine. But after deployment, when I tried to use the Test client in the WebSphere 5.1 app server, I am getting following exception:

faultCode: {http://websphere.ibm.com/webservices/}HTTP
faultString: (405)Method not allowed
faultActor: null
faultDetail:
null: WSWS3192E: Error: return code: 405

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

The internet tells me "All 405 errors can be traced to configuration of the Web server and security governing access to the content of the Web site". There is something different about the web server which you are trying to hit after you deployed.

Sometimes, i get this error when i use the webservices endpoint as "localhost" instead of its "servername or ip address".
Just thinking loud...
