Hello,

Can anybody tell me how to preserve the namespaces of the xml document when getting it using a Web service. I am using Axis Web service, and using a web service I download a document from the server which has all the xml document in one database.

Regards
Harish

Hello,

Here is the situation, I have written a web service that returns a W3c document from the server, now the namespace of the document on the server is say uri:something1/ns1

<ns1:element>
<ns1:element2>
<ns1:element3>
<ns1:element4>

Now when I retrieve the document using the web service call the namespace of the document gets changed, I think this is done by axis , and I want to preserve the namespace of the original document.

Regards
Harish

Hi Harish,

May I ask you to take a minute for editing your display name so that it complies with our naming policy (to have firstname and lastname)?

Thanks
Balaji
