hi,

please let me know how to install Axis in tomcat 4.1 .. I tried to follow the steps which was mentioned at the Apace website.. but it wasnt clear.

I downloaded the Axis 1.3 from apache website and I already have tomcat4.1 installed.
i unzipped the Axis 1.3, I found the folders docs, lib, samples, webapp xmls, license file, readme file,release-notes file.

my question is where to put these files in the TOmcat. i am a newbie plz let me know the detail installation about it..

thank you

You find a webapps folder in Axis and Tomcat, copy the content of Axis webapps folder in Tomcat webapps folder.
It is finished simply, but I wish you don't face f$%& version mismatch error.
