Java Web Service

Hi All,

I am new to java web services. I am trying to develop a web service which should be application server independent. I mean to say, it should easily delopyed on any application server.

Can any one guide me here.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

I'd suggest basing your web service on the Axis SOAP engine. Axis is a web app that can be deployed in any servlet container that supports Servlet API 2.3 and has JDK 1.4.
