how can i fix this? the class works on my own machine from the command line.

The org.apache.soap package was part of Apache SOAP, which has been obsolete for several years (the newer Axis tool uses org.apache.axis). Make sure that the server has all the libraries you have in your classpath, including anything that may be in jre/lib/ext. If you find no differences, download a copy of Apache SOAP, which includes the class in one of its jar files.

Haven't tried to get the package you mention, because I did find and org/apache/... directory in the google jar file, and I copied it to my host. The program I'm trying to run, MySearch.java, has "package com.google.soap.search;" at the top, but I'm getting problems creating redundant dirs on the server. How should I compile/run this program? thx.
