regarding conversational web services  RSS feed

When invoking a conversational web service through a standalone client,there are some restrictions as compared to when we are invoking it through other client web service.
please let me know those restrictions??

I'm not sure what you're getting at. From the pont of view of a WS, all clients are equal. It doesn't matter whether the client is a standalone application or another WS.

I have read on e-docs.bea.com that there are some restrictions when we are invoking a conversational web service through standalone client,but they have not told what are the restrictions .please let me know what are those restrictions.

Creating Conversational Web Services
Its basically using annotations to direct the tool to use Correlation Identifiers to manage a web service session with the client.

As the "conversational nature" of the web service cannot be immediately discerned from a WSDL somebody will have to manually code the propagation of the correct correlation identifier/conversation ID from one request to the next in a stand-alone Java client. This is most likely the restriction they are referring to. In a generated Weblogic web service the @ServiceClient annotation informs the tool to implement "session management" on outgoing requests.
