webservices with Axis : java.io.File as argument ?  RSS feed

Is it possible with Axis to use a webservice that has a java.io.File as an input and/or output argument?

We have defined a method public File doSomething(File input){ .... } and the singature in the wsdd file (with languagespecifictype="java:java.io.File").

But when we call the webservice, there is an out of memory error thrown.

Is there someone who tried this successfully?
