Hello I am kind of new to web service, I have seen articles on conversion of EJB to webServices , Conversion of JavaBEans to web services, I have this servet with the normal doPost and doget and i hope to add a Webservice Method to return the result normally returned in the dopost, please how to i start?

Do you know the difference between SOAP/WSDL style of web services and the REST style? Using REST, it could be as simple as adding a parameter to the query that selectd the WS output option, and then returning some manually-crafted XML. That's also the easiest if you want to handle the WS request in the same code/class as the other servlet methods.
