Calling Perl procedures using Java remotely

Hi,
I want to call perl procedure remotely from my java application. How I can do that. Following is the Perl code which works fine on client side. I need to convert it to java.

#!/usr/bin/perl

use SOAP::Lite;
print "Content-Type: text/html\n\n";

$soap_response = SOAP::Lite

-> uri('http://dids.org/GetList')
-> proxy('http://dids.org/cgi-bin/WebGetListServer.cgi')
-> getAvailableDIDS("702395","403b6aaaa6","92","-1");

@res = $soap_response->paramsout;

for ($iIndex=0;$iIndex<=$#res;$iIndex++)
{
print "$res[$iIndex][0]<br>";
}

I'm confused - do you want to run this Perl code, or convert it to Java? Where does the Java client run, and where do you want this Perl script to run?

above is perl code which connects to perl server remotely and fetches procedure results.

I want to convert this client side perl code to client side Java code. So resulting envoirnment will be that my java application will be able to connect to Perl server and will be able to fetch the procedure results. I hope I am able to clearify my question.

So I need a java code which will replace above perl code.
