Hi,

I have generated client proxy for a webservice developed by third-party company. One the method returns SOAPElement. As per method signature it should return String, instead it returns a SOAPElement

can someone tell me how to extract data from SOAP Element

TIA

Where does this "method signature" come from? If a method is declared to return String, then it can't return SOAPElement.

If the SOAPElement isn't structured any further, then you can use its getValue() method. Have a look at the javadocs for SOAPElement for further information.
