+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,

I am new to web-service is currently trying to compile and deploy samples application provide with the SDK i.e hello-jaxws when I try to compile & deploy this application using the ant script provided with this application I get an error :

init:
compile-deploy-service:
[echo] C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.5.0_02
[javac] Compiling 1 source file to C:\Sun\SDK\domains\domain1\autodeploy
[javac] C:\Sun\SDK\samples\javaee5\webservices\hello-jaxws\src\endpoint\Hell
o.java:6: illegal character: \64
[javac] @WebService
[javac] ^
[javac] 1 error

Any Help will be appreciated. Why do I get this error ? I am using jdk1.5

Thanks.

If this was my problem I would be looking very carefully at line 6 and neighboring lines in the Hello.java source file. What is the character sequence that "\64" appears in?

it is considering @ as a special character i.e '/64'.
