how to create proxy server for web services

hi,

new to webservices,
just looking for advice on
how to create proxy server for axis based web services.

I want to use this proxy server to collect statistics
on web service calls ...

thanks, any help is much appreciated

Axis 1 (not sure about Axis 2) includes a very handy tool named tcpmon. It accepts WS connections on a particucar port, and then forwards them to a server. It's meant for providing a GUI for WS connections, but could just as well be used as a logging proxy (with some programming).
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
