Hi,
I am planning to clear SCDJWS this year end. For that I wanted to get some hands on practicals of web services. Many books are theoritical. Can this book "RESTful Web Services" help me in providing the practicals of web services.

Please suggest any good resources where i can get enough practice on writing and testing web services.

Hi, Arun,

RWS is probably not going to help you with SCDJWS, since it deals with a style of web services the test doesn't cover. Sun only recently became interested in REST with things like WADL and JSR 311.

I would describe the book as a practical guide to design. There are several chapters that show implementations but the bulk of the book is devoted to design principles and walkthroughs.
