Who processes annotation in jaxws ?

any jar file in jaxb or it is being processed by any jar from jdk installation directory ?

It's not clear to me what you're asking. The question of who (or what) processes annotations is generally irrelevant (the answer would be "some class that's part of the JAX-WS package").

Are you asking which classes are being processed? Then the answer would be "the ones in the WEB-INF/lib and WEB-INF/classes directories".

yeah sorry about that.. my question is which class precesses the annotations ?

Because i tried to compile the class(containing annotations) using jdk 1.5 it gave me compilation error(NoClassDefination) at that point of time i thought one of my jar which processes annotations is not in classpath but in jdk 1.6 it compiled fine.

JAX-WS is not part of Java 5 - it has been added in Java 6. If you want to use it with Java 5, you need to add the JAX-WS classes to your classpath.

(BTW, annotation processing is not done during compilation; it's a separate step.)
