Has anyone noticed a performance difference when running applications on the emulator versus running it on the device?

Well, naturally the performance on the emulator is going to depend on your CPU, etc. but I found the emulator fast enough to be useful. With POSE, the ease of reloading a revised class is absolutely great compared to downloading to a Palm. Since POSE uses a copy of the actual Palm ROM, it seems to be a very accurate emulator.

Phil , please read this thread also for more input. Emulators are going to be fast as there is no resource constraint.
Actual , Palm will not be having that much speed , memory. Thus it is going to be slow on real device.
