Cool URL Bill! Thanks for sharing it.
I will hopefully be able to talk/post design/coding etc., very soon as I just got my Visor. I'm just getting into it now and its pretty cool.
Keep'em coming all!

Cool site. I've been thinking about experimenting with programming for my cell phone, and site looks like it has some resources on that.
Thanks!

Matt -
First off, great link Bill!
Matt - I am interested to see what programs you come up with. I think I am going to buy a PDA in the next couple of weeks.
What made you decide to go with the Visor over a Palm product? They seem pretty comparable to me, even the price is the same. I know HandSpring offers the expansion slot, but I am concerned that you aren't able to completely upgrade the OS via Flash ROM.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Chris,
I went with the Handspring because of the expansion slot and their color monitor is 64K colors. As you probably already know, the expansion slot has ENDLESS possibilities (cell phone, GPS, MP3, digital cameras, bla, bla, bla, etc.).
I wish they would show all the modules on their website. I got a catalog with mine and the number of modules in there is amazing.
As for the color, it has 64K color and I think the Palm has 16K - don't quote me though, but I know it's lower.
As for updating the OS, to tell you the truth, I don't know. Try e-mailing Handspring, I'm sure they will get back to you with an answer right away. Let us know too!
I have a few ideas about apps, but am still in the architecture/design stage - I'll let you know.
Talk to you soon,
Matt

Do you have any information about cell phones that support the Java KVM?
Thanks
