We are in the process of kicking off a PDA project where we are going to develop a pilot application for the PALM. Basically, we want to enable our sales folks to view and download customer info. via their PALM.
Should we use a WAP browser? What are some good WAP browsers we should consider? How will we be able to store any of the customer info. locally using a WAP browser? Is this even possible? We don't want to require the users to have a constant connection for many reasons, thus we want them to be able to dowbload some of the info. and store it on the PALM.
What are some other options?
Thanks in advance,
Bob

******** Begin Shameless Plug ********
This is what my company does. Of course, since the PDAP spec isn't out yet, at this time we don't have anything for the Palm Pilot, just WinCE devices and RIM devices.
******** End Shameless Plug ********
You could do it in C/C++.
You could use WMLScript.
