Hi all - has anyone done any research on J2ME and Wireless? Any thoughts about its role in 3G wireless?

I haven't done any solid research in that area, but I'm in the Silicon Valley and a few companies that I've been checking out have really expressed some interest in the technology. When a company needs to implement some kind of wireless product, it seems like Java is one of the first few technologies they look at.

Note that we do have a "Java 2 Micro Edition" forum - that's probably your best bet to get answers to this question, so I'm moving the post there.
