Is MicroSofts Stinger worth looking into?

Has anybody heard of MS's Stinger and is it worth looking into as an Ersatz to J2ME or so?

So Stinger is a "phone sized versiion of Windows CE" - Heh! Poor MS, they just can't get away from the idea that EVERYTHING must be Windows.
The Palm / Motorola phone sounds more interesting to me since the Palm OS already has a nice J2ME: http://www.zdnet.com/eweek/stories/general/0,11011,2632066,00.html
